features of a non-fiction text

Features of a non-fiction text

A content page is a page that tells you what charters or stuff about the book.

A index is where it tells you information .

A glossary tells you the meaning of some words.

A diagram is a picture with words to tell you about the body.

A map tells you where it comes from.

My Reflection

I am learning about the features of a non-fiction text.
It was tricky to know which was the index page and the contents page.
I was proud when I knew what a glossary is.
Next I will use this skill to work on other non-fiction texts.

Great that you are learning these features and that you can now try to find them and use them in other non-fiction texts, Christopher.
